It seems that Frank Castle is finally ready to accept his fate in the latest teaser for the sophomore season of Marvel’s The Punisher. Despite his many attempts to walk away from all the blood and violence, disaster has a way of catching up to him.
“Let me be what I’m meant to be,” Castle voices in the minute-long clip posted by the Marvel Cinematic Universe series’ official Twitter. The brief teaser shows plenty of footage of the trigger-happy vigilante dishing out his unique brand of lethal justice on Billy Russo and his new gang of killers.
As the video caption says, “Trouble doesn’t fix itself. You have to fight back.” Castle is certainly suited up and ready.
The Punisher season two arrives on Netflix on January 18, starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim, Floriana Lima as Krista Dumont, and Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix.
