Disney premiered a brand-new look at their upcoming live-action version of Aladdin during the Grammy Awards on February 10, 2019. This new trailer provided the first look at Will Smith as the Genie, in all of his blue glory. While Smith had been photographed as the Genie for various publications, the version shown had been of the character in a “human disguise,” while this new trailer shows an all-blue, all-CGI Genie.

The clip shown also includes looks at the Cave of Wonders and at the iconic Prince Ali parade scene. Aladdin stars Mena Massoud as the titular character, with Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, joined by Smith as the Genie. The film arrives in theaters on May 24, 2019.
