Disney has released a new sneak peek at their upcoming live-action adaptation of the classic animated film, Dumbo. Directed by Tim Burton, this version of the film will star Danny DeVito as the ringmaster, Max Medici, with Colin Farrell as performer Holt Farrier, Michael Keaton as entrepreneur V.A. Vandermere, and Eva Green as trapeze artist Colette Marchant.
The trailer provides a look at many of the special effects that can be expected from such a production, as well as more of the action and humor that can be expected from the writing. The original Dumbo released in October 1941, and followed the tale of the titular baby elephant who learns how to fly by using his oversized ears.
Disney’s live-action Dumbo arrives in theaters on March 29, 2019.
