Does it go in a long box or record album collection? Valiant Entertainment’s ashcan edition of Punk Mambo #1 is a unique celebration of Punk Mambo’s world that combines comics and music with an edgy aesthetic.

Debuting exclusively at ComicsPRO 2019, taking place on February 21-23, Valiant has crafted a limited quantity of Punk Mambo #1 ashcans that come inserted in DIY “garage band” album sleeves. The ashcan is a black and white version of the complete issue by writer Cullen Bunn and artist Adam Gorham. 

Meanwhile the sleeve features artwork by Dan Brereton, Zu Orzu, Cris Delara, and Adam Gorham, and brilliant design by Valiant Director of Design & Production Travis Escarfullery. Each sleeve was hand assembled at Valiant HQ.

Only retailers can take part in ComicsPRO, so fans should ask their local comic shop if they’re intending to get their hands on one of these limited copies.

Punk Mambo #1 debuts on April 24, 2019 in comic shops everywhere.
