Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will soon be taking off on their final mission, as ABC and Marvel have confirmed that the television series will end after its upcoming seventh season.

Starring Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, who first appeared in the MCU before headlining the series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently in its sixth season on ABC. Gregg has been joined by the likes of Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennett, and Elizabeth Henstridge in the main cast.

The announcement regarding the show’s conclusion was revealed via Deadline in advance of a Comic-Con panel focused on the series.

“The gratitude we feel for the army of incredible fans/friends/agents who gave us this epic journey is difficult to express. It’s a show about a family and you are ours. Thank you,” Gregg said following the announcement.
