Disney has been celebrating the 60th anniversary of their very first theme park, Disneyland, with the ongoing “Diamond Celebration” at the park itself – but what’s anything these days without a fun comic book tie-in? Containing three short stories, dating as far back as 1959, Magic Kingdom Comics helps to capture the feel of the Disney theme parks in one really great oversized issue.

From Donald and his nephews mastering the Matterhorn itself to Mickey getting to experience all the ups and downs of a day at Disneyland, the book does a great job at maintaining that classic Disney feel. (Of course, there’s that little issue about the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland being two separate parks, but we’ll let it slide.) Magic Kingdom Comics is a great read for Disney fans of all ages, and is a worthwhile add to any Disney collection.
