Captain Marvel gets another call to stop a crime, this time perpetrated by Kolomaq. Upon returning to The Triskelion she is cornered once again by the oversight committee to provide their Monday morning quarterback opinions. Then after being confronted by Magneto, Cap realizes that someone is bugging her system and worse yet, there could be a mole in her organization. Cue a vision by Ulysses and Captain Marvel may be facing a fight with her own team.

Civil War II has been frustrating for me. Captain Marvel is one of my favorite characters and seeing her portrayed as stubborn and single-minded is not fun. Granted, Cap has done a lot of good using Ulysses’ visions and she’s doing it while wading through bureaucracy, which is something writers Ruth Fletcher Gage and Christos Gage have displayed very well. But, she continues to aggressively confront people after a vision by Ulysses, which seems to make the visions come true. Considering the way this issue ended, one can hope that the tide is about to change.
