After narrowly missing out on their suspect, Sherlock and Watson return home to their flat only to find an intruder – none other than Detective Inspector Lestrade, who is none too pleased about how Sherlock has withheld evidence from the police. New information comes out about the victim’s daughter, whose names she scratched on the floor in her final moment, and the detective becomes quite flustered trying to figure out the connection. But things get taken to a whole other level when the supposed murderer decides to show up at 221 Baker Street…

The Sherlock manga is remarkably faithful to the BBC series it’s based on, and this issue captured the tension of A Study in Pink incredibly well. The story will come to a conclusion in the next issue, and it’s sure to be as much of a page-turner as the first five issues have been. Even people who don’t really read much manga will find a lot to enjoy about Sherlock.
