Christmas seems to be creeping up earlier each year, doesn’t it? Though the Giant Days 2016 Holiday Special is certainly a treat, so we’re not complaining. This oversized issue examines what it would be like if our three leading ladies hadn’t become friends – which results in the darkest possible timeline for each of them. That said, the cosmic forces at work can’t quite keep them apart for too long.

Giant Days continues to be an absolute delight, and the Holiday Special is no exception to that. That original artist Lissa Treiman contributed 40 pages’ worth of story to this was also a treat. While this is primarily an issue focusing on what could have been, it expands on each of the characters in the witty and irreverent tone which we’ve become accustomed to. This is definitely an early holiday present for longtime Giant Days readers.
