The Powerpuff Girls are hired to guard the Shoegunheim Museum where Mr. Shoegotti has a par of 1,000-carat diamond pumps on display. Unfortunately, they are overpowered by the Fashionistas, who take the shoes and hit the girls with a sassy ray. As the Fashionistas make their getaway the girls become extra sassy versions of themselves who can’t stop blurting mean, snarky, downright sassy things at everyone they encounter.

Written by Haley Mancini and Jake Goldman this is the best issue since the first issue reintroduced the Powerpuff Girls to comic readers. It’s cute, it’s funny, and it’s has the girls kicking some baddie butt – all the things that made the cartoon great. Philip Murphy’s art is also very good, with vibrant colors for the animated heroines, and plenty of cartoony elements to tickle the funny bone.
