Doreen and Nancy are taking some time off to head to the Negative Zone for vacation, and leave Koi Boi, Chipmunk Hunk and Brain Drain in charge. What could possibly go wrong? A lot, actually. Besides the fact that Brain Drain isn’t exactly the best at being a human, but a fearsome foursome of Doc Ock knockoffs are also up to trouble. Plus, a bunch of hero impersonators are popping up to cook up some crime themselves.

As far as one-shot story filler issues are concerned, this one is pretty good. Brain Drain, Koi Boi and Chipmunk Hunk have kind of been around in general for quite some time now, but they’ve really only been there for the sake of supporting Doreen. It’s nice to see their dynamic fleshed out a bit and given some context, plus the issue keeps up the same brand of humor that the rest of the series enjoys.
