Doreen and Nancy continue their excursion in the Savage Lands, where they learn that the Land’s systems have started to fail, impacting the many ancient species of dinosaurs and whatnot that still live there. While they get along with the teams from Wakanda and K’un-Lun, the Latverian team instead took it upon themselves to – what else – build a Doombot. Nancy also keeps trying to make things happen with Stefan, but the whole Doctor Doom thing remains a hangup for both of them.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl continues to be – well, unbeatable, as far as genuinely fun comic books are concerned. It’s been nice to see Nancy get a little more time in the spotlight during this arc, and it looks like things are starting to heat up in more ways than one. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
