TNT’s hit television series The Librarians, based on the earlier films by the same name, has now made the leap from screen to print. That’s right Jack Stone, Cassandra Cillian, Ezekiel Jones, Eve Baird, Jenkins, and Flynn Carsen are back!

What do you get when you combine an Oklahoman with an IQ of 190, a girl with the gift of synesthesia, a world-class thief, a former NATO solider, a reclusive caretaker, and a quick-witted scholar with over 20 degrees under his belt? The Librarians of course! These specially chosen heroes are tasked with investigating strange occurrences, battling ancient conspiracies, and protecting the innocent from the world of magic. When a ’70s movie producer is murdered with a piece of Noah’s ark, who else could you possibly call? But as they delve deeper into the producer’s past, they realize all is not what it seems. Can they solve this strange murder, or will they too end up in the ground?

Will Pfeifer has perfectly captured the many voices within The Librarians and crafted a mystery any fan of the show is sure to enjoy. Meanwhile, the remarkably detailed art by Rodney Buchemi places readers right in the heart of the action. I know what I’ll be reading until the show returns for its fourth season.
