Mighty Mouse has been pulled from Mouseville and got stuck in the real world. When his new friend Joey Malone, the boy who pulled Mighty Mouse into our reality, draws a portal to send the hero back, he inadvertently brings alien cat invaders to our world.

The word of this issue is: mayhem. The alien cats don’t seem to be discerning about what planet they conquer as they start attacking the city, causing mass panic and destruction. Mighty Mouse soars into action, saving people and stopping the feline menace. While the cops struggle to battle the cats, Officer Betances searches for Joey, hoping that he can shed light on the very strange situation.

This issue by Sholly Fisch was fun, comical, and intense. The alien cats’ destructive power coupled with talk of terrorism adds a level or realism that is, thankfully, broken by comical reactions to the alien cat menace. As always, Mighty Mouse is a noble hero swaying the public and police to support him as he fights the cats.

The art by Igor Lima and colors by Mohan are great. It’s exciting with loads of detail and vivid colors. There’s plenty of comedy but also thrilling heroics. This is a fun read for the week.
