BOOM! Box; $3.99
Daisy finally does something she probably should’ve done a while ago – break up with Ingrid, who she realized maybe a little too late was absolutely not good for her. It goes about as well as you might expect, with both sides of the equation going a little bit nutty, but ultimately, Daisy is much better off for it. She, Susan and Esther are officially living apart for the first time, but it’s clear their bond is as strong as ever. But while year two of university wraps up, it’s possible that Daisy is about to face some of the greatest strife yet.
The girls’ second year proved to be turbulent in a number of ways, though there was hardly a sophomore slump for Giant Days. With the main trio now separated from each other with their living situation, it’s going to be interesting to see how their dynamic evolves from here. Daisy’s story especially is bound to be dramatic, though hopefully that will resolve on a positive note for her. Giant Days might be BOOM’s best series and if you haven’t been reading, you’re absolutely missing out.
