The academy is gone, blown to smithereens after it became clear that destroying the building was the only way to eliminate the Sharg infestation taking place there. What’s worse is that the Sharg clearly have more sinister plans for Earth – namely, eating the humans and colonizing the planet for themselves. Unfortunately, it’s not just the Sharg up to some unsavory practices, either.

Mech Cadet Yu continues to up the stakes issue to issue, and in doing so continues to be a total page-turner each time. The conflicts in this story go far beyond giant robots fighting giant monsters – and it should be super interesting to see what happens with Park’s character going forward, with her loyalties both to her father and to her teammates being put to the test.
