Rocko, Hefer and Filbert continue to try their hardest to keep Ed Bighead’s spirits up after Bev left him, to predictably varying degrees of success. When they hit the local club, though, Rocko ends up distracted by a lady at the bar, Henrietta, and does his best to make a good first impression – but things quickly go sideways when Ed runs into Bev at the bar and decides to throw hands with her date.

Rocko’s Modern Life continues to embrace the wackiness of the original show in a way that’s remarkably accessible to newcomers to the franchise. While the brand of humor can get a little weird and a little abstract and is certainly not bound to appeal to everyone, the comic manages to keep the gags coming and never loses its pace.
