As Ninjak, Colin King is part of the Ninja Programme, an elite group of warrior spies in MI6. After Ninja-D was killed, he learned some horrific secrets about MI6’s Acclimation Bureau, which ends personal relationships that Ninja agents have with civilians. After confirming details about the program, he has developed a partnership with Ninja-C to end the bureau.

Ninjak and Ninja-C track the Acclimation Bureau to their headquarters with a plan of destruction. They encounter some security, what both consider paltry, although a Zenith-Armor Guard slows them down for a second. But, though their plans are similar their end games and means of execution are somewhat different, which makes this partnership complicated in a life and death situation.

In addition to the assault on the Acclimation Bureau, Ninjak is still processing what he’s learned, questioning how his life got to where it is. Specifically, what happened to his parents and how much his friend/handler Neville Alcott may know about it.

The Acclimation Bureau story comes to a close in Ninja-K #5. It was well thought out and well executed by the talented Christos Gage. There were twists, some great fight scenes, all the spy gadgets and goodies, and a bit of poetic style to the former Ninja agents’ stories. Collectively, it was great.
