Kamala, after returning to Jersey City (and to her role of Ms. Marvel) following a brief departure, is now finding herself at a crossroads. She ends up locking lips with the handsome Red Dagger, though her old flame – Bruno – is back from an extended visit to Wakanda, which is throwing a wrench into her love life. On top of that, a new student at their high school is making waves in some unexpected ways.

Ms. Marvel continues to be one of the must-read series from Marvel, thanks to writing that manages to capture the essence of what a young superhero should be – from the teen drama to the beating up of various villains. With Bruno now back in the picture, there’s sure to be plenty of tension within Kamala’s group of friends, though the new girl in town might be even more threatening than her snobby attitude indicates.
