Squirrel Girl is facing perhaps her greatest foe yet – the American Justice System. But while she and her pals await trial, they’ve got some things to work out among themselves. Doreen has to come to terms with Kraven’s criminal past, for one, and also, Brian decides that he’s the one best suited to represent the unlikely crew in court. Doreen has a better idea in a certain green-skinned lawyer friend, though. But are She-Hulk’s cross-examination skills to help redeem Kraven in the public eye?

As far as “unlikely team-ups” are concerned, Squirrel Girl and Kraven the Hunter have got to rank pretty high on the all-time list. But this arc has been a lot of fun, and it’s showed a ton of growth for the both of them in addition to being genuinely funny. For whatever reason, maybe because of its absurdity, this matchup has been really great to follow, without being out of character for either of them. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl remains a must-read month after month, so if you’re not already on it, be sure to catch up.
