Quantcast

After Ninja-C stole Acclimation Bureau files, certain cleanup protocols were established to handle MI6’s dirty laundry. One of those was a mission to retrieve the still-living body of a former agent.

Colin King is the current MI6 Ninja agent, Ninja-K, but in the 1980s it was Ninja-H. He started out as a normal agent, but was terribly injured during a mission, prompting the agency to give him cyborg prosthetics and H.A.R.D. Corps technology. Unfortunately, the suit’s intelligence and self-preservation are still active and they want to take down the “compromised” MI6. Enter Ninjak.

Ninja-K is steadily an interesting comic because it combines the fun action and tech of a spy with genuine moral issues that make the reader think. Christos Gage has written another very good issue here that once again puts Ninjak in the situation of doing good even though it can be harmful, while also dealing with his disappointed feelings in the agency. This issue is a jumping on point, so anyone looking for action and a not-so-convoluted story should check it out.
