In her brother’s absence, Shuri has decided to once again don the mantle of the Black Panther in order to serve Wakanda the best way she can. With the threat of the Space Lubber continuing to loom, Shuri attempts to figure out what its next move might be – only to find that the entirety of Sologon’s Village has disappeared. Perhaps worse, Mansa has been hearing music coming from within her, which draws the creature right back to them.
The Shuri series so far has been one worthy of the attention that the character has received ever since her MCU debut. Seeing her step up to help her country, her people and her friends while T’Challa is out in space makes for a compelling read, and it looks like things are going to get even more interesting as she uncovers the person behind the Lubber’s appearances.
