Black Spire Outpost has been established as a haven for all types of ne’er-do-wells, and a certain trio is trying to pull off the most spectacular heist anyone’s ever seen. But the first order is closing in on Batuu, and they’re running out of time. While they contemplate their next move, Dok-Ondar relays the tale of how a certain Jedi weapon came into his possession.

With the actual Galaxy’s Edge land opening at Disneyland Park in California about a week after this book’s publication, it’s clearly coming at the right time. Seeing how notorious characters such as Greedo would have influenced the outpost on Batuu is a nice way to tie the theme park land into a larger universe in a way that makes some degree of sense. This isn’t the greatest Star Wars story ever told, but anyone planning a trip to see the actual park version of this area might consider picking this one up.
