As the Superior Spider-Man, Otto Octavius has found a new purpose in life. He’s defended the city of San Francisco from threats of all kinds, and participated in efforts to rid America of Frost Giants during the War of the Realms. And now? Now he’s a little tired, a little burnt out, and he doesn’t quite know how to handle it. As a certifiable scientific genius he believes he has the answers to everything, but it turns out that he needs some words of wisdom from the exact person he thought he would surpass.

It’s been genuinely entertaining to see how Otto has evolved over the course of this new Superior Spider-Man run so far. His arrogance is starting to soften and he’s seemingly learning what it actually means to be a hero to the citizens of his city. Of course, it seems as though things are about to go fairly sideways for him, as comic book stories are wont to do. But whatever twists and turns may come, I’d definitely keep recommending Superior Spider-Man as one to pick up.
