Halloween may still be a few months away, but for horror aficionados, there is never a wrong time to search out monsters and ghouls. The architect behind thegalleryofmonstertoys.com understands your struggle and is here to help. This savvy site is dedicated to preserving vintage monster toys.

Now, this site is not a dealers site so none of the posted toys are for sale. Instead, The Gallery of Monster Toys is intended to spread awareness and appreciation for these forgotten relics. Of all the toy genres, vintage monster toys are notoriously difficult to obtain and collect. Since Spring 1996, this website has helped to educate many on the history of monster memorabilia.

The extensive gallery consists of four categories: the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Under each category the curator will offer a brief history on what each decade meant to vintage toys, along with images of his own collection. Under Miscellaneous Goodies, web surfers can even view reader submissions, showing off choice pieces from their own personal collection.
