Longtime DC Comic artist Greg Capullo took to Twitter to tease his “biggest adventure yet” with frequent collaborator Scott Snyder.

“In other news: I just signed a new contract with DC and am again teaming with @Ssnyder1835 to produce our biggest adventure yet,” reads Capullo’s tweet.

Since 2011, Capullo has worked consistently for DC, along with working on Image Comics’ Reborn and the upcoming Spawn #300 and #301. It remains to be seen if this new contract is an exclusive deal with the publisher.

While the artist did not disclose what the new project is, Snyder has often talked about a sequel to his and Capullos DC event Dark Nights: Metal.

“Everything is coming back, we want to pay it forward,” Snyder said at Comic-Con International 2018. “The Omega Titans, Barbatos, the Forge, it’s all coming back. Everything you read, our goal is to reward. All of it culminates in like a year in like a Metal event. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be saying that but I’m saying it.”

This Dark Nights: Metal sequel was projected to be released in 2019, later pushed back to 2020 due to the current Year of the Villain crossover. However, with this latest tweet, Dark Nights: Metal may be back sooner rather than later.
