Grab some coffee from Central Perk and a Joey two pizzas special, then head to a local theater for “Friends 25th: The One with the Anniversary” event. In celebration of the beloved show’s upcoming 25th anniversary, Friends will be shown in theaters.

Friends ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004, making huge stars out of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. Now fans will get to see some of the most popular episodes and major series moments on the big screen.

In total, 12 episodes will be shown over the course of three nights on September 23, September 28, and October 2, 2019. Four episodes will be shown each night, which have been remastered in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative. Each screening will be accompanied by exclusive interviews and never before seen content. Over 1,000 theaters around the US are participating in the special event.

On September 23, theaters will show “The Pilot,” “The One with the Black Out,” “The One with the Birth,” and “The One Where Ross Finds Out.”

Episodes showing on September 28 are “The One with the Prom Video,” “The One Where No One’s Ready,” “The One with the Morning After,” and “The One with the Embryos.”

On October 2, fans can watch “The One with Chandler in a Box,” “The One with Ross’s Wedding – Part 2,” “The One Where Everyone Finds Out,” and “The One Where Ross Got High.”

“The cultural impact that Friends continues to have, 25 years after its premiere, is astounding, a true testament to the genius of Marta Kauffman, David Crane, Kevin Bright, and the incredibly talented cast,” Warner Bros. Television Group President & Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Gregorian said.

“It is so amazing to know that the series is still bringing people of all ages together. We could not be more excited to deliver these digitally remastered episodes to theaters – for the first time ever – so that together, in a shared experience, our loyal fans can enjoy some of their favorite Friends scenes in a new way,” Gregorian said.
