Across its over 15 year run, the superhero epic Nexus won six Eisner Awards and thrilled readers with its heroic adventures set 500 years in the future. Now, Dark Horse Comics is bringing Mike Baron and Steve Rude’s comic back in two 184-page collected editions. Both the regular and Artist’s Edition feature remastered versions of Nexus: The Origin and the story “When She Was Young.”

“In Nexus: The Newspaper Strips Volume 1 – The Coming of Gourmando, something long-dormant beneath the surface of Ylum comes alive, triggering a visit from the planet devouring entity and his mysterious ally. With powers far beyond those of even Nexus himself, this unstoppable being banishes Nexus to an unknown realm – and the only way out is to face one’s worst fears,” reads the description for the regular edition.

“The Nexus: The Newspaper Strips Volume 1 – The Coming of Gourmando Artist’s Edition delivers a gorgeous 12-inch by 17-inch hardcover collection in full-color. Supplemented with amazing extras, the Artist’s Edition is a must-have for fans of Mike Baron and Steve Rude’s beloved creation,” adds the description for the Artist’s Edition.

Both editions hit comics stores February 19, 2020, and bookstores March 3, 2020. The standard edition retails for $19.99, while the Artist’s Edition holds a price tag of $99.99.
