The wild, wild, west is lassoing some screen time during the Arrowverse’s upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Johnathon Schaech (Legends of Tomorrow) will be reprising his role as Jonah Hex for the Arrowverse’s fourth major crossover event.

Schaech previously debuted as the Civil War veteran turned bounty hunter in the first season of Legends of Tomorrow. The Legends later crossed paths with Hex in season two’s “Outlaw Country” and once again for the show’s season three finale.

Currently, no details have been shared on how the gunslinger fits into the five-hour event. The crossover is based upon the popular 1985 comic series that saw the multiverse collapsing and bringing heroes and villains from across time to Earth-1.

Schaech is the latest addition to the crossover, which includes LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor and Anti-Monitor, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Brandon Routh as the Kingdom Come version of Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, and Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne. Characters from The CW’s Black Lightning will also be featured.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” kicks off with Supergirl on Sunday, December 8, followed by Batwoman on Monday, December 9 and The Flash on Tuesday, December 10. Following the winter hiatus, the crossover resumes on Tuesday, January 14 with Arrow at 8 PM and concludes with Legends of Tomorrow at 9 PM.
