Vanessa Todd-Holmes has been promoted to Vice President of Production and Scheduling for Dark Horse Comics, the company announced. In this new position, Todd-Holmes will lead Dark Horse’s largest team of employees that includes design, scheduling, routing, and production departments.
“Vanessa Todd-Holmes has been an essential part of the Dark Horse team for years. Her diligent work ethic and unique skill set make her the perfect choice to move into the position of Vice President of Production and Scheduling. This is a great move for her and the company,” Mike Richardson, Dark Horse President and founder, said.
Todd-Holmes, an Oregon State University alumnus, has worked on Dark Horse’s deluxe and limited edition books. She researched and used new production techniques, like LED lights, sound chips, deluxe materials, and other product elements. As the Director of Print Production, she established partnerships with manufacturers around the world and streamlined production locations in South East Asia and Europe. Todd-Holmes has also worked on more projects domestically to help local economies. In pursuit of environmentally friendly production, she has contributed to reduce production costs at Dark Horse.
