Just two months after the premiere of Titans’ second season, DC Universe and Warner Bros. Television have renewed the flagship show for a third season.

The show’s second season kicked off with Dick Grayson reviving the team – Gar/Beast Boy, Rachel/Raven, and Jason Todd/Robin – and moving them to San Francisco. The Titans’ resurrection also brought Slade Wilson/Deathstroke out of retirement with one goal – destroying the team.

More recently, Beast Boy and Superboy were abducted by Cadmus, Donna Troy was seeking out Rachel as Dick wasted away in prison. While things look bad for the superhero team, showrunner Greg Walker previously announced that he is building toward an epic ending.

“This season, we allowed ourselves really to be a comic book show in the finale,” said Walker. “We work the edges of what you can do in the genre in the season – in the kind of grounded, emotional, psychological territory – and now we’re back. It’s more of a celebration of what Titans can be. I hope/feel it is earned. That’s my goal.”

New episodes of Titans are available every Friday on DC Universe. The third season is expected to debut in fall 2020.
