Entertainment Weekly has announced the addition of a certain Pennyworth to The CW’s Batwoman…just not the one you’re thinking of. Royals actress Christina Wolfe will portray Julia Pennyworth, the daughter of Bruce Wayne’s longtime butler and companion Alfred.

Julia will make her debut in the first season’s seventh episode, entitled “Tell Me the Truth.” She is described as a “crafty and quick-witted British secret service agent who shares a complicated past with Kate Kane, which impedes her mission as the two set sights on the same target.”

Along with a teaser for the upcoming episode, EW shared a series of exclusive images of Wolfe opposite Ruby Rose’s Kane and Camrus Johnson’s Luke Fox.

Created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton, Julia made her debut in Detective Comics #501. Although Julia and her father are largely estranged, she continued to appear sporadically in comics and later joining the Bat Family after he was injured. During the DC Rebirth run of Batwoman, Julia helped Kane take down the terrorist organization the Many Arms of Death.

According to EW, “Tell Me the Truth” will also introduce a comic character associated with the Many Arms of Death – The Rifle portrayed by Garfield Wilson.
