CGC has added Ultimate Spider-Man artist Mark Bagley to their in-house private signing roster. Bagley worked on that title for 111 issues, and also worked on New Warriors and The Amazing Spider-Man, and co-created Thunderbolts. At DC, he worked on Justice League of America, Batman, and Trinity. He also introduced Carnage to The Amazing Spider-Man series and gets rave reviews on his character rendition of Venom.
“I love storytelling and giving fans a reason to be excited for the next book,” said Bagley. “Unfortunately, in the comic world and everywhere, there hasn’t been much to get excited about lately. These CGC in-house private signing events give us all an opportunity to reminisce, connect and get excited about something. I’m really looking forward to it!”
For this private signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit collectibles directly to the CGC headquarters in Florida. CGC will coordinate with Bagley to have collectibles signed in early September. If the signings need to be rescheduled due to travel restrictions, CGC will securely store the submissions in their vault until the events are rescheduled.
After items are signed, CGC will grade them with expedited turnaround of three weeks for grading or six weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.
Bagleys’s signing fee is $75 per item. This includes the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label. The Bagley remarque fee is $110, which includes the previous details and the illustrated remarque. There are 200 spots available on a first come, first served basis.
CGC must receive all submissions for this event at their Florida headquarters by Friday, August 14, 2020. Submission details are available at cgccomics.com.
