CGC has booked Skottie Young and Sam de la Rosa for their in-house private signing lineup. Artist-writer Young is known for many titles, such as Spider-Man: Legend of the Spider Clan, Venom, and Deadpool, as well as hundreds of baby variants. He worked on the adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s Oz novels, illustrated Fortunately, The Milk, and created I Hate Fairyland.
“Wow, 2020 has definitely thrown all of us for a loop, and I miss connecting with fans at comic cons,” said Young. “I hope my CGC in-house private signing makes up for it a little bit. I can’t wait to see which books you guys send in for me to sign and remarque.”
Artist de la Rosa has inked Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Avengers, and Predator since 1982. He worked on Venom Lethal Protector, which was the basis for the Venom film.
“I’m excited about this CGC in-house private signing event because previously I’ve only been available to sign for those attending an event, so this makes my autograph available to all!” said de la Rosa.
For this private signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit collectibles directly to the CGC headquarters in Florida. CGC will coordinate with Young to have collectibles signed in mid-September and with de le Rosa in late August. If the signings need to be rescheduled due to travel restrictions, CGC will securely store the submissions in their vault until the events are rescheduled.
After items are signed, CGC will grade them with expedited turnaround of three weeks for grading or six weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.
