Though the COVID-19 pandemic has largely impacted our industry, the comics community has already put forth major efforts to bounce back. For some, that effort is focused on helping local comic book stores.

Jenn Haines, the owner of The Dragon comic and gaming store franchise in Ontario has responded to the coronavirus issues by reaching out to her community. The stores have been taking phone and online orders, as well as hosting events on Facebook to garner interest.

A GoFundMe campaign is currently running with the goal of raising $15,000 to take care of bills, rent, and the staff for The Dragon’s three locations in Guelph, South Guelph, and Milton, Ontario.
