Gemstone Publishing is celebrating 50 years of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide in 2020. The 50th edition of the Guide will be on sale Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in comic shops served by Diamond. The companion book Overstreet @ 50: Five Decades of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide will arrive in shops on Wednesday, November 4.

These revised post-COVID-19 dates were chosen once the restart in distribution began and was determined by working with Diamond and our printer.

We want to thank our loyal readers, retailers, Overstreet Advisors, advertisers, and other supporters, who have patiently waited for these books.

Our Golden Anniversary edition of the Guide is offered with a Spawn-Spider-Man crossover by Todd McFarlane in hardcover or softcover, Valiant Heroes in hardcover or softcover, or Wynonna Earp hardcover or softcover, in addition to the Big, Big edition.

The Guide #50 Spawn-Spider-Man softcover edition will also be available in bookstores beginning on Tuesday, September 15.

The on-sale date will apply to all editions of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #50, including The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #50. As with previous editions, if you order from our website, we will ship the books with the intent that they arrive on the same day as they arrive in comic shops.

The Overstreet @ 50: Five Decades of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide companion book celebrates and documents the 50-year history of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide with an extensive interview with Bob Overstreet, commentaries from Paul Levitz, Maggie Thompson, Beau Smith, David T. Alexander, Buddy Saunders, Matt Nelson, Steve Borock, and others. There’s also a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the Guide, a cover gallery, the Overstreet Hall of Fame, and more.

It features an Incredible Hulk cover by Joe Jusko and will be available in hardcover ($30) and softcover ($20) versions. The hardcover is exclusive to comic shops.
