Former DC co-publisher Dan DiDio has signed on to teach a weekly online course at The Kubert School in the fall of 2020.

In the class “From Concept to Sale,” DiDio will teach students to develop and present ideas for a character or series to publishers and the media. Students will also learn more about creating a series bible and story concept pitch to create opportunities for publication. The class starts on October 1 and will run through the end of 2020.

Prior to working as a co-publisher at DC, DiDio joined the company in 2002 as Vice President, Editorial and later was Vice President, Executive Editor.

“As a long-time fan and supporter of The Kubert School, I’m excited to be involved and contributing to their online program,” DiDio said.

The Kubert School is a three-year technical school that cartoonist Joe Kubert founded in 1976. The curriculum focuses on all aspects of sequential and narrative art, and has added online studies.
