The fourth annual Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards (Ringo Awards) will be held this weekend during Baltimore Comic-Con. The awards ceremony will take place virtually on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 8 PM ET.

Ahead of the awards show, Skottie Young has recorded a video sharing memories about Wieringo. He recounts phone calls they used to make, topics they’d discuss, and how Wieringo inspired him.

The Ringo Awards will begin with a “red carpet arrivals” preshow that starts at 6 PM. It will include prerecorded segments from creators like Mitch Gerads, Cully Hamner, Tom King, Jeff Parker, Mark Waid, and others, who will talk about Wieringo and what he meant to them and the comics industry.
