Nickelodeon is heading to the comic book store for their new sitcom Warped!, which pairs an odd couple duo to work in a comic shop. The network, focused on programming for kids and young teens, has ordered a pilot for the show.

Warped! follows Milo, the manager and “head geek” at a popular comic book store, whose working environment is disrupted when Ruby, a brash new employee, joins the staff. Despite their initial conflicts, Milo and Ruby team up to create the next great superhero story.

Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert are developing Warped! for Nickelodeon and will write and executive produce the show. Kopelow and Seifert have had great success in previous work at Nickelodeon, including executive producing the sketch comedy show All That and creating the sitcom Cousins for Life, as well as creating Austin & Ally for Disney Channel.

Casting details and release information have not been announced yet.
