CGC has scheduled In-House Private Signings with comic writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Stegman. Additionally, CGC has designed a new Knull label in time for the signing. Plus, Cates and Stegman will offer Remarques for purchase. Stegman is also offering a limited number of sketches for purchase.

Cates made his comics debut in 2013, working on Dark Horse titles like BuzzkillDark Horse Presents, and The Ghost Fleet. He joined Marvel and became a leading writer, participating in relaunches of VenomThor, and Guardians of the Galaxy. He continues to write indie and creator-owned books like Aftershock.

Stegman is currently a Marvel-exclusive comic book artist who is known for his work on VenomSpider-ManX-23The Incredible HulkNew Mutants, Thor, and She-Hulk.

“We’ve already had the pleasure of hosting Donny and Ryan, but fans were asking for them to come back – almost the day they left,” Brittany McManus, CGC Signature Series Director, said. “So, when the opportunity came up to have them both back we couldn’t wait to tell everyone!”

For this signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida.

If the CGC In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until it can be rescheduled.

Books can be submitted for independent signatures from Cates or Stegman or for both on the same items. They can also be submitted for a Remarque by both or a sketch by Stegman.

After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of three weeks for grading or six weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.

The fee for Cates’ signature is $80 per item, Stegman’s is $70, and the fee for both signatures is $100. The fee for a signature and Remarque for either Cates or Stegman is $160, both signatures and Remarques is $260, and a Stegman signature and sketch is $325. This includes the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).

Note, the submitter may request the desired Remarque, though the final decision and subject matter is at the artists’ discretion and CGC cannot guarantee Remarque requests. For Stegman’s sketch, the submitter may request a desired sketch design. There are only 100 spots available for the sketch option and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

CGC must receive all submissions to their Florida headquarters by Friday, January 15, 2021.
