CGC is hosting an In-House Private Signing with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles duo Kevin Eastman and Ben Bishop. Along with signing books, they are also offering Remarques.

As an artist-writer, Eastman is known for co-creating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Peter Laird. The title began as a self-published black and white book that grew into a global media phenomenon. He founded Tundra Publishing in the ‘90s, was the publisher and editor of Heavy Metal magazine, and returned to TMNT in 2011 for the reboot at IDW. Eastman and writer David Avallone co-created Drawing Blood, the graphic novel about a comic creator, loosely based on Eastman’s experiences.

Bishop has had a well known run on the TMNT series at IDW and he is the main artist on Drawing Blood. His work is featured in Savage Dragon, Canto, Crossover, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/TMNT, Bloodshot, the graphic novel Lost Trail: Nine Days Alone in the Wilderness, and his creator owned books The Aggregate and Nathan the Caveman.

We cannot wait to see the new, the old and the unique come in.”

For this exclusive signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions for this event by Monday, January 25, 2021.

If the CGC In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until it can be rescheduled.

After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of three weeks for grading or six weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.  

The fee for Eastman’s signature is $70, Bishop’s is $70, and the duo signature is $90. The fee for Eastman’s signature and Remarque is $110, Bishop’s signature and Remarque is $110, and the duo signature and Remarque is $160. This includes the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).
