Quantcast

The Hawkeye series has added six cast members to the upcoming Disney+ show. Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Florence Pugh (Black Widow), Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul), Fra Fee (Les Misérables), Zahn McClarnon (Longmire), and newcomer Alaqua Cox have all joined the cast.

Jeremy Renner is reprising his role of Clint Barton from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Hailee Steinfeld joins as Kate Bishop, the first female character to take on the Hawkeye name. Marvel and Disney have not released many details about the show, but it is expected that Clint will train and/or pass the Hawkeye torch to Kate Bishop.

Farmiga will play Kate’s mother, Eleanor Bishop, and Pugh is reprising her role of Yelena Belova from Black Widow. Dalton is playing Jack Duquesne, the Swordsman who was Hawkeye’s mentor early in his career, and Fee joins as Kazi, who could be Kazimierz Kazimierczak, the mercenary known as Clown. Cox has been cast as Maya Lopez, aka Echo, and McClarnon will play Maya’s father Willie Lopez.

Hawkeye will join a line of Marvel Studios shows, including WandaVision, The Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Loki. It is expected in 2021, though an exact date has not been established.
