Hasbro and eOne are working on a television series based on the fantasy roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons. Derek Kolstand, the creator and writer of the John Wick film franchise, is writing and developing a pitch for a live-action series.

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy adventure game filled with warriors, elves, orcs, and monsters. Known for its strategy and teamwork, it has captivated generations of gamers since its introduction in 1974.

Kolstad’s credits include writing the first John Wick film and working on both sequels. He is also a writer on the upcoming Marvel show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

This news comes at the same time that casting is in the process for a live-action feature film adaption of the game. Paramount and eOne has already announced that Chris Pine is attached to that project.
