The Legends are back and they’re chasing aliens through time in the first trailer for Legends of Tomorrow season six. At the conclusion of season five, Sara Lance was kidnapped by aliens, and now the rest of the team will try to rescue the Waverider’s Captain.

The trailer is short, clocking in at 30 seconds, but it previews the energy and comedy expected in this show. The team is on a chaotic mission with Mick Rory in the lead while Sara plans to takeover the alien ship and fly it home. It shows an alien splatting on the windshield of the ship, there are some Doctor Who-looking robots, what appears to be a 1950s setting, and preview of new character Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz.

The Arrowverse series returns on Sunday, May 2, 2021 after nearly a year off the air. The returning cast includes Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Amy Louise Pemberton, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, and Matt Ryan.
