Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the second official trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, previewing the friction between the two halves of Venom and the birth of Carnage.

Eddie Brock and the alien symbiote are not getting along very well since the latter wants to eat everyone. But that’s not his worst problem by far. The trailer teases how serial killer Cletus Kasady will become Carnage, accompanied by the chilling statement “All I ever wanted in this world is carnage.” Glimpses of labs and prisons containing superpowered figures like Shriek are also shown in the new trailer, as well as the gore and humor that were present in the first movie.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis. It sees the return of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Michelle Williams as Anne Weying. Woody Harrelson joins as Cletus Kasady/Carnage and Naomie Harris as Shriek.

A release date does not accompany the trailer, however it does state that the movie will be exclusively in theaters.
