Star Wars is getting a new holiday special, but don’t open the eggnog – grab a spooky brew instead. LEGO Star Wars will journey into the scary parts of the galaxy far, far away for the Halloween special, Terrifying Tales.

Taking place after The Rise of Skywalker, Poe Dameron and BB-8 make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet of Mustafar. They meet Graballa the Hutt who wants to turn Darth Vader’s former castle into the first Sith-themed luxury hotel.

Since they have to wait for the ship to be repaired, Poe and BB-8 join Grabella and her mechanic, Dean, on a tour of the palace with Vader’s servant, Vaneé guiding the visit. During the tour, Vaneé tells three scary stories connected to Star Wars villains and artifacts. As the stories progress and they travel deeper into the castle, Poe and BB-8 must face their fears and stop an ancient evil from rising.

Terrifying Tales will premiere on Disney+ on October 1, 2021. David Shayne wrote and executive produced the special with Ken Cunningham directing. The voice cast includes Jake Green as Poe, Dana Snyder as Graballa, Raphael Alejandro as Dean, Tony Hale as Vaneé, Christian Slater as Ren (a key figure in the Knights of Ren), Trevor Devall as Emperor Palpatine, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as NI-L8, and Matt Sloan as Darth Vader.
