More villains are coming out to play in the new trailer for Batwoman season three – including the gleefully giggling Mad Hatter.

Season three sees Batwoman and her team searching for the Batman villain trophies that ended up in the Gotham River. This includes the Mad Hatter’s hat, leading to the introduction of the Gotham villain. The trailer does not make it clear if this version is Jervis Tetch or a another character who found the hat and its mind controlling abilities.

Elsewhere, Alice in supervised custody (ankle monitor and everything) has been tasked with helping to track down the villains. The trailer also shows Luke Fox suited up as Batwing, gives a quick glimpse at what appears to be Killer Croc, and introduces Jada and Marquis Jet, the powerful CEO and her son (who could be Ryan Wilder’s mother and brother).

Javicia Leslie is back as Batwoman/Ryan Wilder, along with Camrus Johnson, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, and Nicole Kang. Robin Givens and Nick Creegan are joining as Jada and Marquis Jet. Batwoman returns to The CW on October 13, 2021.
