Metropolis Collectibles and ComicConnect are buying collections and accepting consignments for their next auction at this weekend’s Big Apple Comic Con. The convention will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 25-26, 2021, at the New Yorker Hotel.

“For the last 10 years of his life, the famous inventor, Nikola Tesla, lived in rooms 3327 and 3328,” Vincent Zurzolo said of the hotel. “Con goers can revel in the nostalgia found in every corner of the building and they’ll definitely feel a spark when they make it to the convention floor. Please be sure to stop by and say hi!”

Metropolis and ComicConnect will also attend New York Comic Con on October 7-10 at the Javits Center, and then they will travel on to Chicago to attend Wizard World Chicago held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on October 15-17. The convention teams will be buying collections and accepting consignments for their next auctions at all three shows.

“New York City is my hometown and I never miss a local con,” Zurzolo said. “My guys are happy to bring anything you’d like to review for purchase in person, just call us at (212) 260-4147, ext. 110 or email orders@metropoliscomics.com and we’ll bring the books to the show for you. On the buying side, I’m looking for nearly everything from entire collections on down to just a single comic, original comic art, Pokémon, pulps, video games, almost anything so stop by for an offer, it’s free.”

The ComicConnect team is offering interest free cash advances against the sale of collections in their next auction. “Please stop by and put us to work for you,” ComicConnect’s original comic art expert Micah Spivak said. “Don’t leave the show until you speak to me. I’ll have a stack of cash advance checks, stop by for yours!”
