Lost in Space, the remake of the 1960s sci-fi family show, is planning its last voyage on Netflix. The streaming service released a teaser trailer and announced that the third and final season will premiere on December 1, 2021.

The second season ended with the prospect of a surprise reunion between Judy and a long lost relative. The trailer picks up with Will Robinson making a recording before another dangerous adventure for his family. The focus is kept on Will as he forlornly continues, “I thought that I could save everybody,” intercut with the young man skidding across the ship’s surface and satellite debris falling from the sky. The rest of the family are then shown in various life or death situations by an abundance of threats.

Lost in Space stars Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Maxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey.
