It’s a busy time at Hake’s Auctions. On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, they opened their Premier Auction #233, featuring the Captain America shield prop screen-used by Chris Evans in Avengers: Endgame. Then next weekend, on October 22-24, the Hake’s team will head to Baltimore Comic-Con.

Not only will Hake’s meet collectors, consignors, and comic fans at booth #3001 during the con, they’ll also display the Captain America shield. The Endgame hero prop will be nestled in a Lucite stand and positioned so that attendees can admire the front and back of the shield. Captain America fans can also take photos of the shield.

Cosplayer Knightmage will appear at the booth to take photos with attendees. Sticking to the patriotic theme, he will wear three different Captain America costume variations during the three-day convention.

The Captain America screen-used prop will be accompanied by a premier selection of graded comic keys, Star Wars action figures, and Pokémon cards.

Several members of the Hake’s staff will meet with collectors and consignors at Baltimore Comic-Con, including Hake’s President Alex Winter, General Manager Tim Fling, Consignment Manager Kelly McClain, Production Manager Todd Sheffer, and Senior Cataloger Mike Bollinger. They will discuss bidding in Auction #233 (open now through November 2-3) and consigning to future premier events and online-exclusive auctions.

People who stop by the booth can also get a special Hake’s Baltimore Comic-Con edition button.
